Butternut squash has a sweet,m nutty taste similar to that of a pumpkin. It has yellow skin and orange fleshy pulp. Hands down one of our favorite soup recipes boosts the butternut squash!
Organic Golden Acorn Squash
This golden variety of acorn squash takes very little effort to prepare. It has a lovely pumpkin-orange skin and is nearly the same as the green variety, although some claim that the flesh is a bit sweeter.
Kabocha has an exceptional naturally sweet flavor, even sweeter in taste than butternut squash. It is similar in texture and flavor to a pumpkin and a sweet potato combined. The rind of a kabocha is edible, although, some cooks may peel it to speed up the cooking process.
Organic Spaghetti Squash
Spaghetti squash or "vegetable spaghetti" is ivory to yellow-orange in color. When raw, the flesh is solid and similar to other raw squash, but when cooked, the flesh falls away from the fruit in ribbons, just like spaghetti. It can be served with red tomato sauce or even a basil pesto. Delicious.
